Shift: Night 3x12 / 4x12 (19:00 – 07:30)

Job Summary : Beckley ARH Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the PCU/Stepdown unit. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of Telemetry, PCU, or Stepdown experience and be skilled in critical care nursing. Candidates must be able to float within scope of practice and work every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in the PCU/Stepdown unit.
Monitor, interpret, and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and critical events.
Administer medications, including PCA, epidural analgesia, heparin protocols, and titratable/non-titratable cardiac drips.
Perform IV therapy, phlebotomy, PICC line and central/peripheral line management.
Manage post-operative care for bariatric, orthopedic, cardiac, and general surgical patients.
Provide care for specialized procedures: chest tubes, feeding tubes, wound care, and chemotherapy monitoring.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams: respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, phlebotomy.
Follow infection control and isolation precautions.

Required Qualifications
Active RN license in West Virginia or compact license.
Minimum 2 years of PCU/Telemetry/Stepdown experience.

Certifications:
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
NIHSS
Preferred: AVADE Level I & II.
Proficiency with Meditech EMR and critical care procedures.
Driver's license required; must reside within 75 miles of facility.
