RN – Stepdown / Med Surg Overflow
Location: Memphis, TN
Shift: Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 36 or 48 hours/week (may be discussed during interview)
Start Date: 05/04/2026

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Stepdown / Med Surg Overflow unit with a focus on cardiac (CV) patients. This role is within a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center and requires strong clinical and travel experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide patient care in Stepdown and Med Surg Overflow units
Manage cardiac (CV) patient cases
Work within a team nursing model
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Participate in on-call and weekend shifts as needed

Unit Details:

Patient Ratio: 1:6 (team nursing model)
Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care
Trauma Level: Level I Trauma Center

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience
Travel experience required
Level I Trauma experience required
Large hospital experience required
No first-time travelers
Must comply with NLC guidelines (no pending license accepted)

Additional Requirement:

Candidate must live at least 100 miles away from the facility (no locals)
