Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (RN-OR)
Location: Tyler, TX 75701
Shift: Days (06:30 AM – 03:00 PM), Monday – Friday
On-Call: Required
Assignment Type: Travel Contract
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license (state or compact)
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience
- Experience in the following specialties:
- Orthopedic
- General Surgery
- Neuro
- Vascular
- Urology
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN-OR) to join a dynamic surgical team in Tyler, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise across multiple surgical specialties and be comfortable working in a fast-paced OR environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room setting
- Assist surgeons during procedures across various specialties
- Ensure proper sterile techniques and maintain a safe surgical environment
- Monitor patient condition before, during, and after surgery
- Collaborate with surgical team members for optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient information using Epic EMR
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Experience with DaVinci robotic systems
- Exposure to endovascular and ophthalmology (eye) procedures
