Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technician to provide surgical support in an oral surgery clinic and dental ambulatory operating room. The ideal candidate will assist surgeons and residents during procedures, ensure proper preparation of surgical environments, and deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and workspaces
• Organize and set up surgical instruments, trays, and equipment prior to procedures
• Escort patients and verify medical records, ensuring all documentation and lab results are complete
• Provide "four-handed” chair-side assistance during surgical procedures
• Monitor patient vitals and assist with suctioning, instrument handling, and medication support
• Take radiographs as required before, during, or after procedures
• Restock and manage surgical and medical supplies
• Properly dispose of medical waste and clean up after procedures
• Respond effectively to emergency situations when required

Required Qualifications

• Dental Assistant Certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• Minimum 3 years of experience (5 years preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education

• Associate's Degree required

Additional Information

• Experience in oral surgery or dental OR settings preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong attention to detail and infection control practices required
