Job Title: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics - RRT
Facility: Cape Fear Valley Medical Center
Start Date: 04/20/2026
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 4x12-hour (18:00 – 06:00)

Job Overview: Join a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital providing acute care to both adults and pediatric populations. The Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will work nights, weekends, and float within the facility as needed to provide high-quality patient care in ICU and other critical care areas.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide respiratory care for adult and pediatric patients in ICU and other units.
Administer and manage ventilators, airway management, and neurodiagnostic procedures.
Float between units as needed within scope to meet facility needs.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care and support.
Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic charting system.
Adhere to hospital policies, including holiday coverage, call, and return-to-work restrictions.

Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
Certifications: RRT license (state or compact) required; ACLS for IR Techs; advanced EKG exam for ICU, ED, PACU, Step Down, Tele, and RT specialties.
Skills: Comfort working with both adults and pediatric patients.
System Knowledge: Epic electronic medical record experience required.
Compliance: Must meet all travel, licensure, and vaccination requirements.
Availability: Must work nights, weekends, and float as needed.
