Description
Job Title: RN – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: Aiken, SC 29801
Shift: 12-hour Day Shift (3 days/week)
Contract Period: 13 weeks
About the ICU: Our ICU is a multidisciplinary unit caring for neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients. We use advanced technology including ventilators, cardiac monitors, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, CRRT, gastric tubes, and IV infusion pumps.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the ICU.
Monitor and manage critically ill patients using advanced equipment.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as required.
Qualifications:
Education: BSN highly desired; RN license required.
Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU or Acute Care experience.
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
NIHSS
CPI – Crisis Prevention Institute NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training
Technical Skills: Cerner EMR experience required.
Must live within 100 miles of Aiken, SC.
