Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – CVOR
Location: Pomona, NJ
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 05/04/2026
Shift: Day Shift – 4x10 Hours (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

Job Summary : Atlantic are Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join their surgical team. The RN will be responsible for both scrub and circulating duties across a variety of complex surgical cases, including cardiovascular, vascular, thoracic, and general procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Perform scrub and circulating roles in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
Assist in cardiac, vascular, thoracic, GYN, and general surgeries
Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams
Operate within hybrid OR and robotic surgical environments
Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends and nights
Float between Mainland and City campuses if required

Required Qualifications

Active NJ RN License or Compact License (required at submission)
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience
Experience in CVOR with scrub and circulate duties
Hands-on experience with vascular and hybrid surgical cases
BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
Familiarity with Cerner / Power Chart charting systems
