Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Coordinator to plan and deliver non-medical clinical mental health services within a correctional facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise and the ability to manage responsibilities efficiently while maintaining high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments through record reviews and clinical interviews with inmates
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functional assessments
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and ongoing mental health support
• Accurately document all evaluations, treatments, and interventions in patient health records
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
• Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques effectively across caseloads

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical field from an accredited institution
• Active and valid state licensure: LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
• Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience, including at least two (2) years in a similar role
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (if required by contract or facility guidelines)
