Description

Job Title: Inpatient Pharmacist
Location: York, PA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 05/26/2026
Shift: Day Shift | 5x8 Hours (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
Hours: 40 hours/week

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a 13-week contract at a leading acute care facility. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in oncology pharmacy, IV compounding, and inpatient clinical dosing.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of Pharmacist experience (inpatient or oncology preferred)
Active Pennsylvania (PA) Pharmacist License (or pending at submission)
PharmD or RPh required
IV Certification required
Experience with hazardous & non-hazardous medication preparation
EPIC Beacon experience required
Certifications preferred: BLS, BCPS

Responsibilities:

Prepare and dispense medications, including IV, chemotherapy, and compounded drugs
Perform clinical dosing (renal, pediatric, geriatric, pharmacokinetics)
Ensure compliance with sterile techniques and safety protocols
Manage oncologic pharmacotherapy and medication therapy plans
Collaborate with physicians and care teams for optimal patient outcomes
Utilize automated dispensing systems (e.g., Pyxis)

Additional Info:

Schedule between 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM (40 hrs/week)
Every 3rd/4th Saturday required (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Floating possible to nearby facility (within 2 miles)
Tobacco & fragrance-free facility
RTO: Max 7 days
