Description

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Location: Jackson, MI 49201

Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3x12-Hour Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, every other weekend)
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, the Respiratory Therapist provides life-support care, resuscitation, monitoring, and medical gas therapy to patients. Performs both invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures for patients in ICU and general units. Ensures accurate documentation, communicates effectively with the care team, and supports departmental needs as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience
Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor's preferred)
Current Respiratory Therapist license in the State of Michigan
Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care
BLS certification
