Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER)
Facility: Methodist North Hospital
Location: 3960 New Covington Pike, Memphis, TN 38128
Start Date: 06/01/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (07:00 PM – 07:00 AM)
Schedule: 3x12-Hour

Note: Level I Trauma Center | 2 years recent ER experience required (Strict) | Must be willing to work 48 hours | No first-time travelers

Position Overview:
The ER Registered Nurse provides rapid assessment and critical care to patients in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency department. The RN will manage acute and trauma cases while ensuring timely interventions and patient stabilization.

Job Duties:

Perform rapid patient assessments and triage
Provide emergency care for trauma and acute conditions
Administer medications and IV therapy
Monitor patient status and respond to emergencies
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with protocols

Requirements:

Licensure: Active RN License (TN or Compact State)
Experience:

Minimum 2 years recent ER experience (Strict)
Level I Trauma experience required
Travel experience required (at least 1 prior assignment)

Certifications:

BLS – Required
ACLS, PALS, TNCC – Preferred

Other Requirements:

Must be willing to work 48 hours/week
No first-time travelers (unless 3 years experience)
Weekend and holiday rotation required
Candidates must reside 100 miles from facility
