Description

Registered Nurse – MS/Tele
Facility: Saint Joseph Medical Center
Location: 7601 Osler Dr, Towson, MD 21204
Start Date: 06/01/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Schedule: 3x12s (36 hrs./week)

Position Overview:
MS/Tele RN providing care for adult and geriatric patients with a mix of medical-surgical and telemetry conditions in a monitored unit.

Requirements:

Active RN License (MD or Compact)
Minimum 2 years MS/Tele experience
Telemetry experience required

Certifications:

BLS, ACLS (Required)
NIHSS, CPI

Clinical Skills:

Telemetry monitoring & dysrhythmia management
Cardiac drips (no titration): Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine
IV therapy, central lines, PICC lines
BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, Foley care
Stroke (CVA), CHF, post-cardiac procedures

Patient Population:
Adult & Geriatric

Common Cases:
CHF, chest pain, cellulitis, osteomyelitis, pancreatitis, SBO, Afib, cancer, palliative care

Additional Details:

Floating required (MS/Tele or lower acuity)
Holidays as scheduled
On-call not required
Travelers must live 50 miles from facility

30-bed unit
Every other weekend required
First-time travelers accepted
