Registered Nurse – IMC
Facility: University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center
Location: 500 Upper Chesapeake Dr, Bel Air 21014
Start Date: 06/01/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3x12s
Charting: EPIC

Position Overview:
IMC RN providing intermediate care for adult/geriatric patients with cardiac, respiratory, and metabolic conditions in a stepdown setting.

Requirements:

Active MD or Compact RN License
2–3 years IMC/Stepdown experience preferred
First-time travelers accepted
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI required

Unit Details:

Ratio: 1:4
Census: 22 patients
Adult/Geriatric population

Skills & Procedures:

Cardiac & insulin drips
Hi-flow oxygen/BiPAP
Chest tubes
Telemetry monitoring
TCAR/Post-cardiac cath care

Additional Info:

Every other weekend required
Floating within specialty required
No routine on-call
Navy scrubs
