Description

Job Title: Wound Ostomy Nurse (RN)
Location: Newport Beach, CA
Shift: Day Shift 5x8 | Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week

Requirements:

Active California RN License
CWON / Wound and Ostomy Certification required
BSN required
Minimum 4 years of clinical RN experience
Preferred 2 years of wound and ostomy care experience
Knowledge of infection control and patient safety protocols
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with wound care equipment and technology
Must be comfortable with local travel and be a licensed/insured driver in good standing

Responsibilities:

Assess and manage patients with pressure injuries and skin breakdown
Monitor and report hospital-acquired pressure injuries (HAPI)
Provide wound and ostomy care and patient education
Support care planning and prevention strategies
Conduct staff education and bedside teaching
