Description

Charting system: Epic
Assess, monitor, and care for patients with acute or complex conditions.
Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, oxygen levels, and neurological status.
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments as ordered.
Manage patients on cardiac telemetry and other monitoring equipment.
Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately. Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary team.
Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.

Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years experience required. First time travelers -- OK!
*ACLS, BLS required.
*Cardiac Tele experience required!
*Focus on the cardiac patient (Congestive Heart Failure, rule-out myocardial infarction, Acute Coronary Syndrome, Arrythmias)
*Secondary focus on respiratory problems (ex. COPD, pneumonia)
*Patient Diagnoses: Heart Failure, Respiratory Failure, NSTEMI, COPD, Pneumonia
