Description
Cardiovascular Technician
Location: New York, NY 10025
Job Details:
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: 3x12-Hour Days
• Schedule: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM, 3 Days/Week
• No Weekends
• Hours: 36 Hours per Week
• Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on facility requirements
Responsibilities:
• Monitor patient blood pressure and cardiac activity during procedures
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures
• Operate and calibrate cardiac cath lab equipment
• Record and analyze patient procedure data
• Assist with intra-aortic balloon pump setup and monitoring
• Support emergency procedures including resuscitation measures
• Maintain equipment and replenish lab supplies
• Prepare procedure rooms and assist with patient transport
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab preferred
• MS Office Suite knowledge required
• RCIS Certification preferred
• Strong technical and patient care skills
