Job Title: Mental Health Coordinator - LPC, LCSW, LMFT
Location: San Diego, CA 92154
Start Date: 07/06/2026
Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift: 5x8-Hour Variable Shifts (Days/Nights)
Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on Facility Requirements
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Mental Health Coordinator to provide clinical mental health services in a correctional facility setting. The candidate will conduct mental health assessments, develop treatment plans, provide counseling and crisis intervention, and maintain accurate documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document treatment and evaluation activities
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Work with inmates in a correctional healthcare environment
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related clinical field
- Active LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license in the state of practice
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience required
- At least 2 years in a comparable role required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license preferred
Additional Information:
- Must be LCSW or LPCC
- US Citizenship required for ICE clearance
- Background and credit investigation required for clearance
- Clearance process may take 60 days
- 40-hour guarantee, scheduling based on facility policy
- If start date is delayed, end date will also be adjusted
