Job Title: Registered Nurse – Endoscopy (GI Lab)
Facility: Saint Lawrence Canton-Potsdam Hospital
Location: 50 Leroy St Potsdam, NY 13676
Contract Length: 13 Weeks | Start Date: June 29, 2026
Shift: Days, 5x8s (Monday–Friday) | Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
.Pay Package for 40 hours a week:
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,580/weekly
W2 Taxable Amount: $600/weekly
Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,980/weekly
Position Summary
Seeking an RN with Endoscopy/GI Lab experience to provide care for patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures in an inpatient setting. The nurse will assist with pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure patient care and support physicians during endoscopic procedures.
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 1 year of Endoscopy/GI Lab experience
- Experience with:
- Colonoscopy
- EGD (Esophagogastroduodenoscopy)
- Inpatient Endoscopy experience
- First-time travelers accepted
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
Preferred Certifications
- NIHSS
- PALS

- Endoscopy Outpatient Center
- 3 Procedure Rooms
- 9 Beds
- Approximately 35 patient visits per day
- Patient Ratio: 1:3
Call Requirements
- Some weekend call required
- One night of call approximately every 7–12 days
- On-call rate: $8/hr
- Callback rate applies when called in
