Description
🩺 LVN / LPN – Emergency Room (ER)
📍 Syracuse 13210
⏳ 13 Weeks Contract (Extension Possible)
🚀 Start: 06/12/2026
Shift: Night – 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Emergency Department setting
🏥 Unit Details:
• Emergency Room (ER)
• Fast-paced acute care environment
• Adult patient population
📋 Requirements:
• Active New York State LPN License
• CPR/BLS Certification ( required )
• Minimum 1 year experience required
• Prior inpatient experience preferred
• Must be able to:
• Place IVs
• Perform phlebotomy
⭐ Preferred:
• Previous Emergency Department experience
• EMR/Electronic Medical Record experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
🩺 Responsibilities:
• Provide patient care in Emergency Department setting
• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy procedures
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition
• Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient care
• Administer medications and injections within scope
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and chart preparation
• Communicate patient status changes to healthcare team
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge processes
• Participate in unit operations and patient care coordination
