Description
Job Title: Perinatal Float Pool RN
Location: San Diego, CA
Start Date: Biweekly Start Dates Available
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years combined Labor & Delivery and Postpartum experience (hard stop)
- Must be competent and cross-trained in both L&D and Postpartum
- Must be willing to float between JMC L&D, JMC Postpartum, and Hillcrest LDRP
- Experience with labor management, postpartum care, fetal monitoring, and newborn/maternal care
- Required certifications per facility standards
Preferred:
- Previous float pool experience
- Strong adaptability and teamwork skills
Notes:
- Perinatal Float Pool position
- Must be available to work 1 additional OT shift every 2 weeks (7 shifts total) based on unit needs
- Manager provides a minimum of 2 weeks' notice for schedule changes
- Cross-training across all three perinatal units is mandatory
