Description

Job title : Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown / Immediate Care Unit (Travel Contract)
Specialty: Stepdown / Immediate Care Unit (SDU/IMCU)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3x12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Weekdays with some weekend requirements

Patient Ratio: Typically 1:4; may flex to 1:5 during emergency situations
EMR System: Cerner
Scrub Color: Burgundy and/or White (not provided by facility)

Required Certifications
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Required Skills
IV Starts
Telemetry Monitoring
Ability to independently read and interpret cardiac telemetry strips

Experience Requirements
Minimum 1.5–2 years of RN experience
At least 1 year of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience
Minimum 2 years of Stepdown Unit experience
