Description

Position: CVICU RN (Cardiovascular ICU)
Location: Albany, NY (Albany Medical Center – Main Campus)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights, 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Required Experience

Minimum 2–3 years of CVICU experience
Previous travel experience REQUIRED
Level I Trauma Center experience REQUIRED
Strong experience with post-operative cardiac & vascular surgery patients
Must be proficient in:
- Ventilator management
- Arterial lines (A-lines)
- Spinal drains
- Advanced hemodynamic monitoring
- ECG interpretation & monitoring
- Temporary pacemakers
- Vasoactive & inotropic drip titration

Education

Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Certifications & Licensure

Active New York State RN License
AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)

Additional Requirements

Epic experience REQUIRED
Navy blue scrubs required
