🩺 Registered Nurse – Med Surg/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry)
📍 Garfield Heights, OH 44125
⏳ 13 Weeks Contract (Extension Possible)
🚀 Start: 06/26/2026

Shift: Night – 4x12 Hour Shifts

• Traveler must work at least every other holiday
• ECG Rhythm Recognition Test and SafeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation
• Acceptable scores on both assessments are required for assignment continuation

🏥 Unit Details:

• Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Unit
• Fast-paced acute care environment

📋 Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
• Minimum 18 months of permanent Med Surg/Telemetry experience required prior to any travel assignments
• AHA BLS Certification required
• AHA ACLS Certification required
• NIHSS Certification required

⭐ Preferred:

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Strong telemetry and cardiac monitoring background

🩺 Required Skills:

• Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• IV starts and IV management

• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Cardiac rhythm recognition
• Medication administration and safety practices

• Multidisciplinary patient care coordination

🩺 Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions

• Utilize telemetry monitoring and respond appropriately to rhythm changes
• Perform IV starts and maintain vascular access

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams

• Successfully complete required orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and Safe Medicate testing
• Deliver safe, high-quality patient-centered care
