🩺 Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)

⏳ 13 Weeks Contract (Extension Possible)
🚀 Start: 06/26/2026

Shift: Day – 5x8 Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

• No on-call required
• No weekend requirements
• Operating Room assignment in an acute care hospital setting

🏥 Unit Details:

• Operating Room (OR)
• Surgical services environment supporting a variety of procedures

📋 Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 18 months of recent Operating Room experience required
• Minimum 18 months of permanent Operating Room experience required prior to travel assignments
• AHA BLS Certification required
• AHA ACLS Certification required

⭐ Preferred:

• Scrub experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience

🩺 Required Skills:

• Operating Room nursing experience
• Circulating surgical procedures
• Pre-operative and post-operative patient care

• Sterile technique and infection prevention
• Surgical instrumentation knowledge
• IV starts and IV management

• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Multidisciplinary surgical team collaboration

🩺 Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Function as a circulator in the Operating Room

• Maintain a safe and sterile surgical environment
• Assist surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists during procedures

• Perform patient assessments before and after surgery
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary surgical teams

• Deliver safe, high-quality patient-centered perioperative care
