Registered Nurse – PCU (Stepdown/IMC/MS Tele)
📍 Potsdam, NY 13676
🕒 Night Shift | 3x12 (19:00 – 07:00)
⏳ Contract: 13 Weeks

Unit Overview:
Mixed acuity PCU / Stepdown / MS Tele unit managing surgical, trauma, and overflow medical patients. May include rare pediatric cases. Floating required to sister units.

Requirements:

1 year RN experience
Must have recent PCU/IMC experience (within last 3 years)
NY RN License (in hand)
Epic experience required
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
No locals (must be >75 miles)
First-time travelers accepted

Key Skills:

Telemetry & cardiac monitoring (dysrhythmias, post MI)
IV therapy, central/PICC/port management
Blood transfusions, phlebotomy
Heparin & cardiac drips (no titration), insulin protocols
Chest tubes, trach care, oxygen therapy, BiPAP/CPAP
Wound care, surgical post-op care
Neuro: CVA, seizures, TBI
Renal: CBI, renal failure, pre/post hemodialysis
MS/PCU patient management
