🩺 Registered Nurse – Med Surg/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry)
📍 Ontario, OH 44906
⏳ 13 Weeks Contract (Extension Possible)
🚀 Start: 06/29/2026

Shift: Night – 3x12 Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Willingness to float to other MS/Tele units (Bucyrus & Galion) if census drops to maintain hours

🏥 Unit Details:

• Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Unit
• Typical Patient Ratio: 1:5

📋 Requirements:

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent, consecutive Medical-Surgical experience in a hospital/acute care setting required
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• Previous travel nursing experience required (No first-time travelers)

⭐ Preferred:

• Minimal or no requested time off (RTO)
• Flexibility with floating assignments

🩺 Required Skills:

• Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• IV starts and IV management

• Medication scanning proficiency
• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Cardiac rhythm recognition

• Medication administration and safety practices
• Multidisciplinary patient care coordination

🩺 Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions

• Perform IV starts and maintain vascular access
• Utilize telemetry monitoring and respond appropriately to rhythm changes

• Administer medications using barcode medication scanning systems
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Float to Bucyrus and Galion MS/Tele units as needed to maintain hours

• Participate in required on-call coverage and respond within the one-hour response time
• Deliver safe, high-quality patient-centered care
