Title: Ultrasound Technologist | Brooklyn, NY

📍 Location: Brooklyn, NY
Shift : 9AM - 5PM Days

Join a respected healthcare facility in Brooklyn, NY as a Travel Ultrasound Technologist!

Position Details

Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer)
Contract: Travel/Contract

Responsibilities

Perform ultrasound examinations following established departmental protocols
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
Assist radiologists during ultrasound examinations
Operate, clean, and perform minor adjustments on ultrasound equipment
Capture and transfer images to PACS for physician review
Maintain adequate supplies and ensure equipment readiness
Assist with orienting and mentoring new ultrasound staff
Schedule exams, answer phones, and coordinate patient transportation as needed

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent Ultrasound Technologist experience
ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) registration required
ARRT certification required
Experience with PACS and ultrasound imaging equipment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
