Description
Position: Registered Nurse – Stepdown (CV Thoracic Unit)
Location: St. Joseph, Missouri
Duration: 13 Weeks | Start Date: 06/30/2026
Shift: Nights, 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Minimum 1 year Stepdown/PCU experience
- Active RN License (Compact accepted)
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
- Epic experience required
- BSN preferredKey Requirements
- First-time travelers accepted
- Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Cardiac drip titration
- Vasoactive drip titration
- Central lines, PICCs, ports, IV therapy
- Chest tubes and respiratory management
- Post-cardiac cath and post-MI care
- Heparin protocols
- Rapid Response/Code Team participation
