Title: Registered Nurse/CVICU
Job Location: Largo,MD
Shift/Hours: 3x12 Days (07:30-20:00)
Start Date: 07/13/2026
Contract length: 13 weeks

Description:
CVICU RN - Days - 36H; EOW
1YR experience required; will consider first-time traveler with extensive CVICU/open heart experience (2 yrs required)
Start Date: 07/13/2026
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift/hours: 3x12 Days (07:30-20:00)
License/certs required: RN MD state license, BLS, ACLS

Patient Age Range: Adult/Geriatric
Avg Daily Census: 6
# beds on unit: 8
Ratio: 1:2 CVICU/CCRU; if floated to IMC, ratio 1:3 (lower acuity)
Patient Diagnoses: Cardiac Surgery- CABG, valve, cabg/valve, CAD- STEMI, NSTEMI, AFIB w RVR, cardiogenic shock; Vascular- peripheral bypasses, EVAR; Thoracic- VATS
Special Procedure/Unit Details: immediate post-op care for cardiac surgery patients; 1:1 for first 12 hours; vent management w/resp therapy;
Flo Trac; CRRT; IABP; Impella; Groin/radial artery management (fem stop, TR bands)

Weekends: every other weekend required
Holidays: required as they fall, as scheduled
Floating: required within the specialty, including IMC, and lower acuity as needed
On-Call: on-call scheduled shifts not required
