Description

🩺 Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER)
📍 Greensboro, NC 27401
⏳ 13 Weeks Contract (Extension Possible)
🚀 Start: 07/20/2026

Shift: Night – 3x12 Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

• 2 weekend shifts (or 4 weekend days) every 6 weeks
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• No on-call required
• EPIC documentation system utilized

🏥 Unit Details:

• Emergency Department (ED)
• Fast-paced acute care environment

📋 Requirements:

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• NIHSS Certification required
• EPIC experience required

Preferred:

• CPI Certification
• PALS Certification
• TNCC Certification
• Previous Charge Nurse experience
• Level II Trauma Center experience

🩺 Required Skills:

• Emergency Department nursing experience
• Rapid patient assessment and triage
• IV starts and IV management

• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Trauma and critical care stabilization
• Medication administration and emergency interventions

• Management of medical and surgical emergencies
• Multidisciplinary patient care coordination

• Accurate documentation in EPIC

🩺 Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of varying acuity
• Perform rapid assessments and prioritize care through effective triage

• Initiate IV access and administer medications and treatments
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies

• Assist with trauma resuscitations and emergency procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC

• Collaborate with emergency physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered emergency care
