Description

Job Title: CVOR tech
Location: Greenville SC 29605
Shift: Day 4x10
Duration: 13 Weeks
Total Hourly Pay Rate: $65
Weekly Gross: $2600
Start Date: 7/27/2026

CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – 13-Week Contract
Requirements

Minimum 2 years of CVOR CST experience
Level I Trauma experience is required
First-time travelers are not accepted
Must hold an active NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
BLS certification required

Schedule

Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Overtime opportunities available

Call Requirements

On-call required after scheduled shifts, primarily Friday through Sunday
Must take at least 2 weekday call shifts per week
1–2 weekend call shifts every 6-week schedule, depending on department needs

Time-Off & Scheduling

All requested time off must be submitted with the application and is subject to facility approval.
The facility may cancel 1 shift every 2 weeks.

ECMO
Aortic Aneurysm Repair
Atherectomy
ASD Repair
Cardiomyoplasty
Mitral Valve Replacement
Pericardial Window
VAD Management

Unit Information

Average of 3 heart cases per day
Floating is required based on census and Prisma Health policy.
Candidates may float to the Main OR when CVOR volume is low, but only within their competency and training.
