Description

RN - Ambulatory Surgery
Location: 10 Union Square East, New York NY 10003
Shift: 9 am - 5 pm – 5 days a week M-F
Duration: 8 weeks

Description:

Delivered comprehensive perioperative nursing care using evidence-based practice and the nursing process in an Ambulatory Surgical Unit.
Assessed patient conditions, developed individualized care plans, and implemented timely clinical interventions.
Collaborated with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, coordinated, and patient-centered care.
Educated patients and caregivers on procedures, post-operative care, discharge planning, and health promotion.
Monitored patient safety, administered medications, documented care accurately, and adhered to quality and compliance standards.
Performed purposeful rounding, addressed patient concerns, and promoted a positive patient experience through compassionate communication.
Participated in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and performance enhancement activities to support clinical excellence and patient safety.

Requirements:

2 years' operating room/med surg experience
ACLS Certification
BLS Certification
NYS RN License
