🏥 Travel Registered Nurse – Med Surg/Telemetry (Ortho/Spine/Trauma)
📍 Location: Kingsport, TN
🏥 Facility: Ballad Health
🩺 Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry
📅 Start Date: 07/12/2026
⏳ Contract Length: 13 Weeks
🕒 Shift: Nights | 3x12-Hour (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
💼 Schedule: 36 Hours per Week
🗓 Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

Position Overview
Ballad Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Med Surg/Telemetry unit specializing in Orthopedic, Spine, and Trauma post-operative patients. This 34-bed unit provides care to adult patients with a supportive interdisciplinary team and offers an excellent opportunity for both experienced travelers and first-time travelers.
Requirements
✅ Minimum 1 year of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
✅ Active RN License (TN or Compact State)
✅ AHA BLS Certification Required
✅ NIHSS Preferred
✅ ACLS Preferred
✅ Must have MS/Tele and Med Surg experience
✅ First-time travelers accepted
✅ Traveler must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
