🕒 Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Radiation Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join the outpatient Radiation Unit at Mount Sinai Beth Israel – Union Square. The RN will provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care to oncology patients undergoing radiation treatment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements:

✅ Active New York State RN License
✅ BLS Certification
✅ Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
✅ Minimum 2 years of Radiation Oncology experience in an outpatient setting required
✅ Previous travel experience preferred (1 year for travel positions)
✅ EPIC experience highly preferred
✅ BSN preferred (Associate Degree accepted with relevant experience)

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout radiation treatment.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, disease management, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiation therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Monitor patients for treatment-related side effects and intervene appropriately.
• Document accurately in EPIC and maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
