Description

RN – Operating Room (OR) | er

Location: Aiken
Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM); days vary based on department needs
Hours: 36 hours/week
Duration: Approximately 13 weeks (1,068 total hours)
Positions Available: 1

Call Requirements

One weekday on-call shift per week
One weekend on-call assignment per month

Job Requirements

Experience

Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
Experience with multiple surgical specialties required

Education

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program (Required)
BSN highly preferred

Licensure & Certifications

Active RN license in the state of practice
BLS
ACLS
PALS

Job Responsibilities

The OR RN is responsible for:

Performing scrub and/or circulating nurse duties during surgical procedures.
Preparing the operating room before each procedure.
Ensuring all surgical instruments, equipment, implants, and supplies are available and functioning properly.
