Critical Care Float Pool RN

Shift: Weekends 7A 1 shift during week

Description:
Join our Critical Care Float Pool for weekend Day shifts with flexibility to meet unit needs as they arise. Nurses will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity, including:
• Neuro ICU
• Surgical ICUs
• Medical ICUs (MICU x2)
• Cardiology/Diagnostics
• CVICU
• SICU / MICU / NCCU

Float Policy:
Nurses are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS – Required
• Proficiency with EPIC – Required
• Must have:
o IV Start
o Telemetry
o Ventilator management experience


Parking Options for Travelers
WMC Agency Permit – ***/month
Guaranteed parking in an OSUWMC visitor garage. Best option for travelers who want the closest and most reliable parking.
CXS Permit – ***/month
Includes shuttle service every 15–30 minutes, but service is limited. The route has multiple stops and drops off about a street over from OSUWMC. Best suited for Jameson Crane Sports Medicine. Also includes access to 9th Ave Garages (East and West) on weekends and holidays.
WB Permit – ***/month
Most affordable option. Parking is in West Campus Carmack Lots 2 and 3, about 1.7 miles from OSUWMC. The Pink shuttle runs every 3–5 minutes during peak start/end times and goes directly to the medical center in about 8–9 minutes. Also includes access to 9th Ave Garages (East and West) on weekends and holidays. Weekend access is from Friday at 2 PM through Monday at 8 AM; outside those hours, regular hourly garage rates apply.
