Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Cardiology
Location: New York, NY 10019
Address: 1000 10th Ave, New York, NY 10019
Shift: Days 5x8 hours | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday (No Weekends)
 
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a busy Outpatient Cardiology department. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiology experience, excellent IV skills, and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Patient ratios will vary depending on clinic volume and daily procedures.
 
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an outpatient cardiology setting.
  • Perform patient assessments and monitor patients before, during, and after cardiac procedures.
  • Start and maintain IV access and administer medications as ordered.
  • Assist physicians and the clinical team during non-invasive cardiac procedures.
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures, medications, and post-procedure care.
  • Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and patient safety guidelines.
 
Requirements
  • Active New York State RN License
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required
  • BLS Certification
  • ACLS Certification
  • Minimum 2 years of Cardiology RN experience (Required)
  • Strong IV insertion and management skills (Required)
  • Outpatient cardiac procedure experience (Required)
  • Non-invasive cardiology experience (Highly Preferred)
