Description
🚨 Travel CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Baltimore, MD 🚨
❤️ University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS)
📍 Location: Baltimore, MD
📅 Start Date: August 3, 2026
📆 Contract: 16 Weeks
🕒 Shift: 3x12 Rotating Days/Nights (36 Hours/Week)
🏡 Local Rule: Must live 50 miles from the facility
Join a nationally recognized academic medical center and care for critically ill cardiac patients in a high-acuity Cardiac ICU (CVICU)!
✅ Requirements

Active Maryland RN License or Compact RN License
-
Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience
-
BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and CPI certifications required
-
NIHSS and CCRN preferred
-
Epic experience required
-
First-time travelers welcome with strong CVICU experience
-
Must have hands-on experience with IABP and Impella

📋 Assignment Highlights
✔️ 1:1 patient ratio (up to 3 stable, lower-acuity patients)
✔️ Adults & Geriatric population
✔️ Average daily census: 10 patients
✔️ Every other weekend required
✔️ No scheduled on-call required
✔️ Floating within ICU and lower-acuity units as needed
