Professional Job Summary
Position: Interventional Radiology Technologist
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of interventional radiology experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be certified in ARRT, BLS, and ACLS, with hands-on experience operating Siemens imaging equipment. Experience using the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system is preferred. This role involves assisting with a variety of interventional radiology procedures while ensuring patient safety, maintaining high-quality imaging standards, and providing excellent patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Experience operating Siemens imaging equipment
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with interventional radiology procedures.
- Operate Siemens imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Monitor and ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records (EPIC experience preferred).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team.
- Rotating day off each week
- On-Call Requirements:
- One primary weekday call and one backup weekday call per month
- One weekend every 6 weeks (alternating between primary and backup call)
