📍 Job Title: Registered Nurse – Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
📌 Facility Location: 200 SE Hospital Ave, Stuart, FL 34994
⏰ Shifts: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
📆 Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Description:

• Provide critical care nursing services in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
• Work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) on a 3x12 schedule
• Assess, monitor, and care for critically ill patients requiring intensive medical management
• Administer medications, manage critical care equipment, and respond to medical emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
• Minimum 18 months of MICU experience required; 2 years preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records required
• Required Certifications:

• BLS (AHA or client)
• ACLS (AHA or client)
• NIHSS (must be obtained before the start date)
  • Must be willing to float within scope of practice to Martin North, Martin South, and Tradition Hospitals (within a 20-mile radius) as needed
  • Block scheduling is not available
  • Pending Florida license not accepted
  • All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with the initial application
  • Travelers must complete all required onboarding modules promptly after confirmation
  • Facility is 100% smoke-free; all travelers must pass a 10-panel drug screen with nicotine (cotinine) testing
  • Assignment at a 521-bed teaching, short-term acute care hospital
  • White scrubs required
  • Strong critical care assessment, ventilator management, communication, and clinical decision-making skills required
