Description

Registered Nurse – Cath Lab

Location: Stillwater
Start Date: July 27, 2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days, 5×8s (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Position Overview

Cath Lab RN assignment in a 3-room cardiac catheterization lab
Adult and geriatric patient population
Average daily census: 5 patients
Block scheduling
10–12 days of call per month
Weekend call every other/every third weekend

Minimum Requirements

2 years of Cath Lab RN experience
Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact License required at the time of submission
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Travel experience not required
Experience with any electronic charting system

Required Clinical Experience

Candidates should be proficient in:

Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
Left & Right Heart Catheterizations
Cardiac Stent Placement
Pulmonary Artery (Swan-Ganz) monitoring
Procedural Sedation administration and monitoring
Cardioversion
Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
12-lead ECG acquisition
Activated Clotting Time (ACT)
IV therapy and infusion pumps
End-Tidal CO2 monitoring
Infection prevention and isolation precautions

Procedures Performed

Left Heart Cath (with/without PCI)
Right Heart Cath
Peripheral Angiography (with/without stenting)
Temporary & Permanent Pacemaker Insertions
Ablations
Pericardiocentesis
Thrombectomy
CardioMEMS
Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO)
