Description

Position: Certified Surgical Technician (CST)
Location: Eagle Pass, TX 78852
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 5x8-Hour (Days), 40 Hours/Week
Shift Time: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
On-Call: 2–3 days per week and every other weekend
Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on facility requirements
Requirement: Must live at least 100 miles from the facility

Required Experience:

Laparoscopic hiatal hernia procedures
Endovascular procedures
Breast oncology procedures

Qualifications:

High School Diploma (Required)
NBSTSA Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) (Required)
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
BLS Certification (Required)
Good communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

Plan and prepare for surgical procedures.
Assist the surgeon during operations.
Sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
Assemble scheduled and emergency surgical case carts.
