Description
Position Details
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts
Weekends: Every other weekend (EOW)
Holidays: As needed
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience
- First-time travelers accepted
- Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
- Telemetry competency (must pass EKG exam during onboarding)
- Epic EMR experience
- Previous Charge RN experience preferred
Required Certification
- BLS
Floating
- Floating is required based on staffing needs.
- Travelers must be willing to float to all Cone Health facilities.
Patient Population
- Observation patients
- Respiratory conditions
- General Medical-Surgical diagnoses
- Palliative care
- End-of-life and hospice patients
- Psychiatric observation patients
- Diabetes (including new diagnoses and diabetes-related complications)
- Surgical and surgical observation patients
Additional Requirement
- All RN travelers are required to pass a mandatory Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding, regardless of specialty.
