Description
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU
Start Date: ASAP (Required)
Schedule
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts
- Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends per month
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
- Active North Carolina RN license or Multistate Compact License required at the time of submission
- Recent Epic EMR experience required
- Must be willing to float as needed
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- PALS
Unit & Floating
- Home unit: ICU
- Floating required to Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) and Medical-Surgical units based on patient volume.
- ICU Patient Ratio: 1:2 (may vary when floating)
Required Skills
- Ventilator management experience
- Must be comfortable caring for pediatric patients if needed. Pediatric ICU admissions are uncommon, but patients are not routinely redirected.
Dress Code
- All White or All Navy scrubs
Local Traveler Policy
- Local candidates living within 40 miles of the facility are not eligible.
- A valid driver's license must be provided for address verification before an offer can be extended.
