Description
Start date:8/10
Shift: 3x12s Nights
RTO: 7 days MAX
First-timers accepted: May consider if 2 years strong experience
Years of experience REQ: 2 years
Floating REQ: Yes. PICU or NICU first; may go to Peds M/S Onc floor
Weekend REQ: 4 weekend shifts/mo; some holidays required (in mix with regular staff)
On-call REQ: No
Certs REQ: ACLS, BCLS and PALS
Type of Scheduling: Self
Documentation System: Cerner
Special Procedures/Unit Details:
Highly variable patient population. Mostly surgical and large majority will be babies. Acuity varies as well
ECMO - have technicians that run the pumps
Nitric Oxide, pacemakers, Chest tubes, invasive monitors
Bedside procedures (chest tube placement, cardioversions, etc)
No floating to ED or Mental Health
