📍 Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
📌 Facility Location: 211 Church St, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866
⏰ Shifts: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
📆 Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Description:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit during night shifts
• Work 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) caring for mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period
• Perform maternal and fetal assessments, monitor labor progression, administer medications, and assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Provide newborn stabilization and demonstrate strong nursery care skills
• Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe maternal and neonatal outcomes
• Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery clinical experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Active New York RN license required at the time of submission
• Required Certifications:

• BLS
• NRP
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification (completed within the past 2 years)
  • Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Candidates with a primary residence in the following New York counties are not eligible: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
  • Strong fetal monitoring, labor management, newborn care, critical thinking, communication, and emergency response skills required
  • Deliver safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to hospital standards and best practices
