📍 Job Title: Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer
📌 Facility Location: 750 E Adams St, Syracuse, NY 13210
⏰ Shifts: Day 5x8-Hour (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
📆 Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Description:

• Provide echocardiography services in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Work day shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) with rotating weekends and holidays (start time may be as early as 7:00 AM)
• Perform a comprehensive range of cardiac ultrasound studies, including:

• 2D and 3D Echocardiograms
• Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
• Exercise Stress Echocardiograms
• Pharmacologic Stress Echocardiograms
• Intra-procedural echocardiography support in the Heart & Vascular Center
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and the healthcare team to produce high-quality diagnostic imaging
  • Participate in ongoing education, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental training opportunities
  • Cardiac ultrasound experience required
  • 5 years of experience preferred
  • Required Credentials:
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer – ARDMS) or
• RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer – CCI), or eligibility for either credential
• Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Associate's degree in a related healthcare field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, ultrasound imaging techniques, and excellent communication and patient care skills required
  • Maintain accurate documentation while delivering high-quality, patient-centered diagnostic cardiac imaging services
