Description
Position: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
Location: Bronx, NY 10461
Start Date: 08/03/2026
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: 5x7-Hour Days (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Hours: 35 hours/week
Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on facility requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of LMSW experience
- Master's Degree in Social Work
- Active Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) (Primary Source Verification required)
- Experience in inpatient women's health is preferred
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide psychosocial assessments and counseling to patients and their families.
- Develop and implement discharge plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Coordinate referrals to community resources and support services.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Advocate for patients and assist with crisis intervention and care coordination.
