🩺 Registered Nurse – Med Surg/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry)
📍 Canton, OH
⏳ 13 Weeks Contract (Extension Possible)
🚀 Start: 08/07/2026

Shift: Day – 3x12 Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

• Every other holiday required
• EPIC documentation system utilized

🏥 Unit Details:

• Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Unit
• Acute Care Hospital Environment

📋 Requirements:

• All job and submittal requirements are non-negotiable. No exceptions will be made.
• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required at submission
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent Med Surg/Telemetry experience required prior to travel assignments
• AHA (or client-approved) BLS Certification required
• AHA (or client-approved) ACLS Certification required
• NIHSS Certification required prior to start date
• EPIC experience required
• One recent reference from a Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM), Supervisor, or Director in the specialty is required for submission

⭐ Preferred:

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Strong telemetry and acute care background

🩺 Required Skills:

• Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• IV starts and IV management

• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Medication administration and safety practices
• Cardiac rhythm recognition

• EPIC documentation proficiency
• Multidisciplinary patient care coordination

🩺 Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions

• Perform IV starts and maintain vascular access
• Utilize telemetry monitoring and respond appropriately to cardiac rhythm changes

• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care
