📍 Job Title: Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Care 
📌 Facility Location: 4900 Broad Rd, Syracuse, NY 13215
⏰ Shifts: Day 5x8-Hour (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday)
📆 Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Description:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in an Ambulatory Oncology setting at the Upstate Cancer Center – Community
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (assignment must start on a Friday)
• Deliver high-quality outpatient oncology care, including patient assessments, treatment coordination, education, and symptom management
• Collaborate with oncologists and the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered care throughout the treatment process
• Ambulatory Oncology experience is required
• Infusion experience is preferred
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience (within the past 2 years) in a hospital of similar size and level required
• Travelers must have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma level
• Active New York State RN license required
• BLS certification required
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Must possess excellent assessment, communication, patient education, and documentation skills
• Candidates must have an unrestricted professional license with no history of suspension, investigation, or professional liability claims
• Must successfully complete pre-employment health screening, drug screening, and background check
• Deliver safe, evidence-based, patient-centered oncology care while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to facility policies and standards
